BANG HOUSE

PRIVATE RESIDENCE

Residence transformation

A visionary Alteration

The Bang House is a thoughtfully transformed residence that successfully blends functionality, aesthetics, and comfort. The renovation was initiated out of necessity to reinforce the foundations and structure, as this building, originally constructed in the 1980s, had presented signs of humidity damage over time, as well as some cracks resulting from the natural settling of the soil.

In addition to enhancing the structural integrity, the preliminary studies identified the need to also modernize the home and optimize usable space to improve the flow. The project envisioned the opportunity to add key features to expand internal areas, improve comfort and consequently increase the market value.

Such modifications included the addition of a second floor, the enhancement of natural light, the use of high-quality and durable materials, and taking advantage of the sloped terrain to create a terrace patio offering stunning views of the city and the hilly horizon.

Created specifically for this residence, custom-designed guardrails and stair railings add unique artistic touches that align with the home’s aesthetic, reflecting the designer's creativity while ensuring safety.
