Architectural Concept
This Christian temple is designed with the intent to express doctrines and religious elements through symbolisms through architectonic elements that resonate with the Christian faith. The architecture design incorporates key biblical concepts that forms the Christian faith, including the Tablets of the Law, the Bible, the Twelve Apostles These elements shape the spatial and structural design of the church.
The Tablets of the Law
The entrance portico reflects the traditional depiction of the tablets as two rectangles with rounded upper edges.
A slight diagonal displacement in the design creates a welcoming gesture, symbolizing the openness of God’s laws to all who enter.
The Bible
The façade walls are inspired by the profile of an open Bible, evoking the curved pages.
The Four Evangelists
Four curved walls on the façade represents of the four evangelists.
The Twelve Apostles
The twelve Apostles are symbolized by the twelve front windows, arranged in two sets of six.
The symbolism refers to the Apostles being the window to the good news and bringing light to the church.
Vertical bars above each set of windows directed skyward signify the Apostles' illumination.
Architectural Expressions
The temple is conceived as an embodiment of Christian symbolism, where the spatial arrangement and architectural elements reflect key religious principles. Each feature serves to visually and spiritually connect worshippers with biblical teachings, emphasizing the integration of faith into the very structure of the building. From the welcoming portico to the illuminating windows, every detail invites reflection and worship, making the space a profound representation of Christian values and community.
Acoustics
The architecture is thoughtfully designed to enhance acoustics, with a focus on the arrangement of walls and seating. The building features strategically angled walls that help diffuse sound evenly throughout the space, ensuring even distribution to every part of the main room. The layout allows the seating to be arranged in a fan-shaped pattern, ensuring sound reaches all areas of the room clearly. This design optimizes sound clarity and creates an immersive auditory experience for all worshippers.
Natural Lights and Ventilation
The design strategically groups the windows vertically along the wall, extending from the floor to the ceiling, to maximize natural light and improve ventilation. Positioned at specific angles, the windows promote cross-ventilation and allow for indirect light, creating a calming, introspective atmosphere for the audience while preventing glare for the speakers on the altar.
