SENIOR ACTIVITY CENTER
A conceptual building and structure designed to host a variety of activities for the elderly
The Senior Activity Center is a dynamic, inclusive space designed to offer older adults a range of engaging activities. Its architecture features open, adaptable layouts with a modern aesthetic that highlights natural materials and prioritizes accessibility, ensuring comfort and ease of movement for everyone.
At its focal point is a tensioned roof structure made of canvas, concrete, cables and steel that creates an open, airy environment while allowing natural light to filter through. Along with providing a spacious area for diverse activities and occasional concerts, this distinctive design also serves as an iconic landmark in its urban setting.
