SOBRADO CREEK
CITY PARK INTERVENTION
Design for the revitalization of an urban creek, protecting nature and creating public space
The project was developed as an intervention in a creek area located within the urban environment, which had become a neglected site prone to erosion. The proposal aimed to transform the area by introducing trees, playgrounds, walking trails, and shaded spaces, offering both environmental restoration and recreational opportunities.
The emphasis was on creating an area that would protect nature while also providing successful public spaces that offer comfort, safety, and a variety of activities to attract visitors. The project was thoughtfully designed by a collaboration of professionals and university students, and was later donated to the city for potential implementation.
